We have just finished a week at the hotel lion, we booked a late deal and were abit put off with the reveiws of the lion but liked the look of it anyway! The hotel is alot more Cosy than the other bigger hotels and the staff seem more friendly than the other places! If you book the lion make sure you ask for a bigger room as ours didn't have a balcony and was a little small although we got used to it. I would recomend this hotel to anyone it's clean and nicely set out spa and swimming pool is good, it costs 10 lev in a taxi from the resort, we walked it in less then 15 min! The hotel bus runs every 20 min until 6. We will come back to borovets and stay in the lion hotel again
