BJs Bar Borovets
BJs Bar is located on the corner of the gondola & the Samokov hotel. It's is the Borovet's only non-smoking bar.
It is decorated in an Austrian 'Apres-Ski' bar style with traditional wood panelling throughout. This bar used to be called Peter's bar but has been taken over by new management this year.
Music is 90's based indie - all night :( Drinks aren't cheap either.. A gluhwein (Hot Wine) will set you back 7 lev whereas across the road at the Golden Chicken or next door at the Green King they're only 2 lev. A large beer is 4 lev - same price you'll pay on the mountain!
Not really worth the price you'll pay for drinks vs. the experience you'll have. Give it a miss.

|16-01-2011 20:14:01 hannahI have recently come back from a week in Borovets and spent everyday in BJ's the bar staff speak good english and are lovely. The music varied and there was a dj later on so you could request songs. The drinks weren't as cheap as some of the places but they were reasonable!

|04-03-2012 16:41:18 pete - Best bar in BorovetsI have just got home from a week in Borovets and the skiing has been the best ever. B Js bar is the best bar in Borovets by far. I was in there every night. I did try alot of the others briefly and still went back to B Js. The staff were happy efficient and friendly, the music was up to date with the odd old track included. It was a very lively bar. The nail game proved very popular.
I just hope its the same next year when I go back.
